wow that was incredibly defensive a response and quite crude too, hahahaha!
no i won't be doing that. i don't have a "high score" either. it just seems like you would have more if you've been here that long but if it 's not your priority, i suppose it can't be helped
say you find the cure to a common, but painful and fatal illness. the cure requires you to use every body part of a specific person as medicine, basically killing them. the person is an ordinary person. maybe a kid if that makes you feel worse about it. point is, they're not evil, just normal. you can't talk to them to explain yourself or get their permission. trying to duplicate them through magic or science doesn't work. you gotta turn that specific person into pills to save a bunch more ordinary and unordinary people.
sacrificing them will give you the exact amount of medication needed to cure everyone who has the disease, so it won't be able to spread any further and will go extinct.
[ that's his answer, for now. though he's not sure if it's his real answer, he's still considering the thought experiment. there's too many factors that would go into the reality of it and he's always been one to find the solution never found before.
but he thinks it'd make for a more interesting conversation with shigaraki if he says he'd use the child. ]
[ he's had enough people ignore the moral dilemma and insist they'd brute force their way through the problems (which, although not unrelatable to him, does make the thought experiment less fun!) that those have become a stale, boring shield of an answer. everyone likes to fantasize that they're capable of saving everyone else, don't they? ]
I see it makes the most sense numerically after all the greatest good for the greatest number.
in the most cruel, cold logic of it, that's the optimal solution
of course i'd prefer another way. of course i'd look for another way. but the scenario laid out as you've laid it out, that's the answer. one life for the many.

for this experiment, let's say no. you don't know anyone who's sick either. they're strangers to you.
