the opposite. in my opinion, friendship is one of the most precious things in the world and should be cherished and protected, not squandered

but it does not mean i think my specific friendship is the most worthwhile thing in the world either. i cherish the friendship i am given, and am grateful for those who allow me to share my friendship in turn.
