I'd have to do some proper research first, wouldn't I? While I know of some stories from the mainland, I am not familiar with every variety of spirit and monster, even in my own.
But for the most part, all corpses are susceptible to burning. That is purification in its most basic form. So, I suppose I would go with such a technique.
